A center for retired and senior citizens in Bucks County. Our loan to the Bucks County Association for Retired and Senior Citizens was used to pay off the construction loan for the Pennridge Community Senior Center in Silverdale, Pa. The Association provides nutritional meals, educational activities, health and insurance information, and other services and information to help seniors maintain their health, independence, and dignity. Area seniors use the center as a place to get together with friends, participate in activities, and make new acquaintances. (Loan Pool IV – 6/24/08)

The Brandywine Center houses health services, resource centers, and low-income apartments for seniors. Community Lenders’ loan to the Coatesville Health Development Corporation is for a newly constructed 4-story building in Coatesville, Pa. The Brandywine Center houses ChesPenn Health Services, Child Guidance Resource Centers, Chester County Community Dental Center, and Human Services, Inc on the first and fourth floors. The second and third floors consist of 24 low-income senior apartments. (Loan pool IV – 6/24/08)
